His death was due to a disease of thelliver. During the entire 15 years that he carried mail here he never missed a single train, but for 15 years was at the frallroad station when all mail trains arrived and carried the pouches to the post office. Mr. Rickerson was borni n the town of Antwerp, Dec. 17, 1843, and was a son of John Rickerson, a native of Oswego, and Mary Rickerson, a native of Antwerp.
